This is a different mix of an album originally released on Heimat Der Katastrophe in November of 2019. Despite having no music experience whatsoever, HDK was gracious enough to ask me to release a tape on their wonderful label last year. They suggested a soundtrack to The Castles of Dr. Creep (Broderbund 1984) a puzzle game for the Commodore 64. I originally created the tracks based on each level of the game, with the concept that the music would be glitching out while the player was playing it (hence the distorted titles).

HDK had a different idea for the concept of the presentation, however. They decided to take it in a more sci-fi, experimental, horror approach. Which is totally cool, but I eventually wanted to release it with my original titles. So I decided to create a mixdown of all of the tracks and add some distortion to it, as if you were playing the music from an extremely abused cassette, or through a painfully beatup CRT TV speaker.
